Spalted Beach serving Platter/Bowl

Description

This platter showcases how unique and effective spalted wood can be – it adds great depth to the grain and produces a striking pattern. Due to the nature of spalted wood, this would be suitable for serving food on but is perfect as a decorative piece. It features a deep centre bowl, wide rimmed edge and has a soft, satin feel. The platter has been finished with a walnut beeswax wood conditioner (also available from the CA Woodcraft store).

1.5 inch height

Care instructions:
Can be carefully washed in warm soapy water, then dried immediately.
The piece should not be left wet or standing in water, or placed in a dishwasher.
Although it is finished and ready to use, it is recommended that the finish is maintained
periodically for maximum protection and longevity.
