This is a unique, handmade wooden trinket dish, turned from Australian Red Mallee Burl—some of the most fascinating timber a woodturner can work with. I shaped this piece by hand in my Kent workshop specifically to showcase the incredibly dense, swirling grain patterns and deep, rich natural colours locked inside the wood.

A Practical Daily Catchall Designed as a decorative change dish, this piece is the perfect size to sit elegantly on a hallway console table, desk, or bedside cabinet. It is an ideal, tactile spot for holding your daily essentials—like loose change, keys, rings, or small trinkets.

Because of the wild, unpredictable nature of burl wood, this is a completely unique, one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be replicated.
