Ring Sizing and Care Guide
How to Measure Your Ring Size
Whilst you can get a more accurate ring sizing by going to a professional jeweller, this guide provides step-by-step instructions to get an approximate inside circumference sizing. You can also purchase ring size gauges at a fairly low cost.
Generally, the size of our fingers can change throughout the day and are larger at the end of the day. Therefore, we recommend taking a measurement at the end of the day. Our fingers are smallest when cold, so you want to take a measurement when your fingers are warm.
Step 1: Using a thin strip of paper or ribbon (ideally no wider than 12mm), wrap this around the base of your finger.
Step 2: Using a pen, mark the paper/ribbon on the point where it overlaps to form a complete circle. Try to make sure that the circle can slide fairly easily over the knuckle, but without it being too loose.
You may find it easier to mark both sides of the overlap, to measure the length more accurately*.
Step 3: Measure the length from the start of the paper/ribbon and the mark (or length between two marks*).
Step 4: Once you have your measurement, you can use our sizing chart below to find your ring size.

Our rings are listed in US sizes. The sizing chart below provides both UK and US ring sizes.
How to Care for Your Ring
Whether you’re buying a fully wooden ring or a metal ring with wood inlay, there are some essential dos and don’ts for caring for your rings.
We finish our rings with a hard-wearing CA glue finish, buffed to give it beautiful lustre. To clean it at home, we recommend giving it a gentle buff with a clean and dry microfibre cloth.
Whilst this finish can withstand most daily activities, exposure to ‘high impact’ activities, e.g. rock-climbing, mechanical work, etc, can mark and scuff the finish. So, consider temporarily taking off your ring or wearing protective gloves during these activities.
The finish on our rings is water resistant, so you can keep these on when washing your hands, showering, doing the washing up, etc. However, we don’t recommend you leave them soaking in water and, like with most jewellery, don’t expose to saltwater for long periods of time.
Chemicals and solvents, including those found in household cleaning and hair-care products, can break down the finish of our rings. So, best practice would be to either remove the ring when using these products or wear protective gloves. When using hand sanitiser, we recommend removing your ring, applying the sanitisers to your hands, and only putting your ring back on when the sanitiser has fully dried.
