I love working with English Sycamore because of the incredible hidden patterns locked within the wood. To bring this piece to life in my Kent workshop, I individually hand-turned this bowl and applied a blend of rich red pigments to the exterior. This process catches the unique grain and adds a dramatic pop of colour to the wood’s natural tone.

A Striking Display Piece Designed to be a real eye-catcher, this decorative wooden bowl serves beautifully as a functional centrepiece for your dining table or a standalone piece of display art. It has been meticulously finished with a high-gloss wax polish, giving the wood a luxurious feel, brilliant light reflection, and excellent durability.

Because of the unpredictable nature of the grain and the hand-staining process, this is a completely unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
